I know this is going to be difficult to believe but I don't have a 100% close rate on my sales. Yes - your image of my perfection is shattered but it's okay, we can get through this together. You may think that my frustration in the process is getting a NO reply but it's not. I know that I am not everyone's cup of tea and I dont want to be. What is frustrating is a prospect that lacks the courage to say NO.
And I dont want to be - after all - who wants all those tea bags in their cup anyway! More than a couple of times I work with the speaker, expert, or entrepreneur that just doesn't understand why "everyone" doesn't want the latest, greatest, sexiest thing they are selling or saying or doing. They question the lack of groundswell to their obvious greatness.
My inbox had 1789 email messages in it. Oh wait.... now there are 1797 - just got a few more. Seriously! This makes absolutely no sense. I started to ask myself why I had so many damned messages - was I really planning to get back to that one from March 2011? Probably not. I haven't cleaned out the ones from today and now I am at 1797 - oops... 1803. It was time to make a change and I took the time to make that change.
